Celebrate Summer with Kabbalat Shabbat in the Park: Friday, August 10

On August 10th we will be gathering outdoors to welcome Shabbat with good food, good company, singing and a walk in the woods. We are having a potluck gathering at Lower McCleay Park at 6:00pm.

Everyone should bring a vegetarian main dish or salad to share. We will eat first, then gather around for songs with Rabbi Joey and Havurah members, Bill Hersh and Sheryl Horwitz. After about 25 minutes of singing, we will take a meditative and reflective walk up the path to get us in the spirit of Shabbat.

We would like people to RSVP in order to know how many plates, utensils, etc, we need to bring to the park. The committee will provide non-alcoholic drinks and desserts.
