Andrea Wiener
Andrea is responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of the congregation, and works closely with the Steering Committee, Rabbi, Educator and other staff. Andrea brings Havurah many years experience in providing a strong administrative foundation to support the vision and activities of community: members, volunteers, and leaders. In 2010, her first year at Havurah, Andrea looks forward to immersing herself in the life of the congregation, from Kabbalat Shabbat to Steering Committee meetings, and from Mash’pi’a to financial management.
Andrea grew up in New York and California, received her B.A. in International Relations from U.S. International University, and her MA in Body Therapy from the University for Humanistic Studies. Andrea also completed professional training in the Feldenkrais Method, and has held board and staff positions at the Feldenkrais Guild of North America.
Andrea lives in Sellwood and loves to gaze out her window at Oaks Bottom, the Willamette River and the Portland skyline…in between checking email and surfing the Internet.
