Havurah Shalom supports parents in our efforts to raise ethical and healthy children who are connected to Jewish values and culture. Parents learn together and share as they strive to make Judaism enjoyable and meaningful for themselves and their families.

Jewish Parenting Workshops 2011-12
The Oys and Joys of Parenting
Parenting is not for the faint-hearted. How do we deal with everyday and life-changing moments of raising children? We will consider ‘best practices’ alongside Jewish values and wisdom about parenting in order to reflect upon our own parenting joys and challenges. Allan Cordova, clinical psychologist, will facilitate. Parents need to attend both sessions. Maximum number of participants: 12. Register by November 10..

Children and parents meet separately to delve into a piece of Torah and then gather together for an activity that deepens their knowledge of Judaism and of each other.
